The Bilim Barine Public Foundation, in partnership with the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University, the K.I.Satpayev Kazakh National Research Technical University and the Ochaq Center for Sustainable Development, with the support of the US Diplomatic Mission in Kazakhstan, conducted practical training seminars for Zhetysu farmers on the following topics on May 27, 2023:

1. The climate crisis and methane
2. Reducing methane emissions from ruminants
3. How to organize the production of biogas and other useful substances from agricultural waste
4. How to get financial assistance from the Government of Kazakhstan and international organizations aimed at reducing methane emissions in agro-industrial farms in the Zhetysu region.

Leading domestic and foreign scientists and business coaches act as experts.

The practical training seminar was held in the building of the NGO "Ochaq Center for Sustainable Development" at the address: Zhetisu region, Koksu district, Zharlyozek rural district, auyl Mukanshi. A lunch was organized for the participants of the seminar. The duration of the event was 3 hours.

All participants received certificates and booklets containing more detailed information about the topics of the practical training seminar
