In the Almaty region, a philanthropist built a free educational and leisure center for the villagers

In the Almaty region, the philanthropist built a building and organized a free educational and leisure center for villagers in the Koksu district.

The initiator of the social project is the Center for Sustainable Development "Oshaq" in the village of Zharlyozek, Doctor of Law, Professor Sarkytbek Moldabaev. He has worked in law enforcement and justice for many years. Conducts scientific and teaching activities in the branch of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Almaty region.

According to him, the building was built with funds from the American grant program and is aimed at supporting and developing the new global sustainable development program officially adopted by the UN.

The mission of the center is to assist the aul in solving environmental, economic and social problems, as well as comprehensive support for the inhabitants of the aul. To implement the tasks set, Sarkytbek Moldabayev even created the public association "Oshaq" Center for Sustainable Development.

“Everything starts from the hearth. That is why the Center is called "Oshaq". I want to emphasize that the building was built for the needs of the people. First of all, the villagers will receive information on various issues, including legal issues, starting a business, obtaining public services, employment and others. Also, the conditions make it possible to install a workshop and equipment here, create an ethno and eco-park, open various circles and sections. In developed countries, society, every family is engaged in sustainable development. That is, for a family, sustainable development is what we must consume in such a way that after us there are resources for the next generation,” the philanthropist said.

The educational and leisure center has already begun to provide information and consulting assistance to the population. Experts and specialists from various fields are invited to weekly meetings of residents.

The day before, Oshaq was visited by the Chairman of the Regional Council of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Almaty Region, a deputy of the Regional Maslikhat Rimma Salykova, the Head of the Human Capital Development Department of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Almaty Region Almagul Ongarbayeva, the Head of the NGO Altyn Adam Zhetisu Sheberler Ortalygy Dinara Bakirova, the Head of the Council of Business Women Koksu district Saltanat Uteshbayeva, head of the Center for Employment of the Koksu district Aidyn Zhunisov, lawyer Akerke Kerimova. The speakers spoke about the areas of work, explained the measures of state support, and also answered questions and held a personal reception of residents.

In addition, a Kazakh-American education center operates in the Oshaq educational and leisure center, where villagers are taught computer literacy for free. For example, Amanbek Aldibekov, a teacher from the village of Kyzylarik, teaches children and adults the basics of computer literacy twice a week for free.

They also plan to create a self-service corner for receiving public services through egov.kz.

“In our region, more and more socially responsible entrepreneurs and philanthropists appear who support their native village with their souls, helping in every possible way to solve the problems of the village and the population. Not every village has a modern educational and leisure center like in the Zharlyozek rural district, where villagers can also implement their initiatives,” said Rimma Salykova, chairman of the Regional Council of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Almaty region, deputy of the regional maslikhat.

Sarkytbek Moldabayev and his family members intend to continue investing in the development of their native village.
